Third-party software
Last updated 16 September 2026
Fenrir is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any project or company on this page. Nor with TikTok, nor with any game publisher. Fenrir works alongside these things; none of them has agreed to anything with us.
What you install yourself
Fenrir does not bundle, mirror or re-host any of these. It links to each project’s own site and you install it from there, which is the ordinary thing a mod does — redistributing someone else’s launcher would be the problem, and this is deliberately not that. It also means these update on their own schedule, and can break Fenrir’s connection to a game without either of us having changed anything.
The client that loads these games' mod scripts. The Steam versions on their own cannot run them.
You need a legitimate copy of the game. Plutonium does not provide the game itself.
The client that loads custom scripts for Infinite Warfare. The stock Steam game cannot run them.
You must legally own Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. IW7-Mod's own guide says the same and will not support unlicensed copies.
Injects into the Unreal engine so commands can reach the game. The bridge mod Fenrir writes runs on top of it.
Loads the small plugin Fenrir uses to pass commands into the game.
A Minecraft server Fenrir sends commands to over RCON. This is the one Fenrir will download and set up for you if you ask it to, from Paper's own API — it is still their software, fetched from them.
What ships inside the installer
These are open-source libraries compiled into the application. Their licence terms are listed because they are the ones that actually attach to a download of Fenrir.
Reads the TikTok LIVE event stream. This is the one that makes Fenrir work.
Modified AGPL-3.0. Its added Section 18 specifically permits paid, closed-source tools that run locally on the user's own machine, which is what Fenrir is. Section 19 withdraws that permission for hosted or relay services — which is a large part of why Fenrir runs on your PC and not on a server of ours.
Services Fenrir and this site talk to
What each one sees is set out in the Privacy Policy, including how long anything is kept.
Supplies the signing TikTokLive needs to open a LIVE connection. Your TikTok username passes through it when a stream connects.
Named on the Risks page too, because it is the one part of the chain that is not on your PC.
Holds accounts and sign-in. Your email address and the record that you accepted the terms live here.
Hosts this website and the licence API the application checks in with.
Hosts the installer download and the release list the updater reads.
Games
Call of Duty, Minecraft, Palworld, Valheim, Hogwarts Legacy and every other title Fenrir supports belong to their publishers. Fenrir is not licensed by them, does not include any part of them, and does not provide a way to obtain them. You need your own legitimate copy of any game you want to use it with, and modifying a game you own carries risks that are set out on the Risks page.
Something missing or wrong?
If you maintain one of these projects and want the wording changed, or want Fenrir to stop pointing at you, say so and it will be changed. Contact details are on the Terms page.
